Given the increasing complexities of survey data collection and assimilation, Karvy Insights has launched KITS (Karvy Insights Technology Solutions), which enable electronic solutions, combine passive interaction observations with derived analysis and use simplified response behavior to the extent possible. These technology solutions form the core of many of our solutions related to data assembly and provide automated data science outputs to offer the best solutions with least manual interventions.

 
UI/UX (Apps, Web)

iUserX

A superior technology solution that allows researchers to observe consumers interactions with Apps/ websites unobtrusively, without the presence of observers / external video recording devices which can result in posturing behaviour. Recording is done electronically (with prior consent from the participant) through a pre-installed app. The activity is thus less intimidating and artificial, and allows consumers to continue browsing in their natural behaviour pattern. The solution works on both laptops and android mobile phones to monitor the ‘usage, navigation path and click stream’ electronically.

 

Through this, we can capture unbiased consumer responses, validate stated behaviour with unstated responses through actual recordings, understand navigation paths of multiple users to amplify traffic patterns/ obstacles. This allows clients to fine tune their app/ website development to facilitate consumer experience. The software’s capabilities eliminate the need to hire expensive usability testing cameras and also helps access real time data.

Product Preference at Retail

iELI – in-market Early Launch Indicator

A 360° evaluation through both Retail and Consumer lenses for an early check of new launches. The service can be customized as per client requirements (geographies, set of outlets etc.) and yet ensure fast turnaround to enable quick course correction at the client-end through actionable insights. It also provides photographic evidence to support data.

 

iREM – in-market Retail Establishment Mapping

This involves enumeration of retail establishments within a particular geography and provides detailed information about the establishments’ characteristics – business and other. It helps generate data to classify establishments according to size, and generates a comprehensive database with GIS of the business community in the marketplace. The scope of this service can be extended to include service entrepreneurs (like painters and weavers). In such cases iREM becomes iSEM (in-market Service Entrepreneur Mapping).

iVYAPAR - Immediate Visibility Yardstick, Product Availability, and Reach

iVYAPAR is used by businesses to monitor operations, facilities, product delivery, and service performance. The benefits of iVYAPAR include feedback on frontline operations, identification of training needs as well as sales opportunities, competitive analyses, and improvements in customer retention. iVYAPAR can be used to monitor facility condition and asset protection, audit pricing and merchandising compliance, and also check product / service delivery quality.

iSOM - Share of Market

iSOM provides longitudinal trended data of the market share and availability share for a set of brands and SKUs within a category, in the absence of Retail Audit. It offers design flexibility for both markets and products and provides quick and flexible solutions under limited investments.

iCOMMUNICATE

Evaluation of stimuli should reflect what is relevant today – sharing, contemporariness, need fulfilment, emotional bonding, etc. While our testing suite retains some basic measures, it goes beyond to reflect consumer mores with respect to processing of stimuli. We borrow from Behavioral Economics theories that explore causal factors of human choices and decisions.
